Vegas Video with Josh Bartlett

by Adam on January 27, 2010

I’m here in Las Vegas, and was able to hang out with and shoot a quick video with Josh Bartlett – the creator of the new Easy Video Player software.

If you haven’t seen this software yet, it’s pretty sweet. I’ve been using it myself, and we’re in the process of switching over all of our websites and clients over to this player -

Well it’s 2010 – can you believe it?

As I look back over the past year it’s amazing to see how much has happened – even looking back on the past 3 months it makes my head spin to see how much I’ve done…it’s been pretty busy  - here’s a quick recap

  • Launched a new website Turbo Traffic System with Dean Holland and added over 400 members in the first 60 days
  • Attended a $20,000 event with a group of 50 high-level entrepreneurs of millionaires and billionaires in Las Vegas
  • Spoke in front of hundreds of people at 3 conferences about effective website design and website marketing in Edmonton, Las Vegas and Chicago with Bill Walsh, Mark Victor Hansen, Stephen Pierce, Brian Tracy and several other well-known authors and speakers
  • Hired several new programmers, additional full-time staff and a sales team
  • Created the content and blueprint for 3 new websites we are in the process of launching in the next 30 days

It has been a whirlwind past few months and I’m enjoying every minute of it – here are a few pictures to recap:

A few posts back I wrote about the company you keep and “your fave 5″ – and these past few months for me have been of the people I surround myself with, and the connections and partnerships I have been able to create from it.

Take, for example, this past weekend. I was speaking in Chicago at Bill Walsh’s Rainmaker Event – which is an awesome business building workshop to help you create a 2 year plan for your business and connect you with the right people to grow your business at lightening fast speeds.

I’ve become quite good friends with Bill Walsh’s son Austin, who is a whiz when it comes to Facebook. And I had this idea a few months ago to create a website all about social media, with training on how to use social media the right way to help you grow your business – something every entrepreneur and business owner needs to understand right now especially.

So anyways, I was talking with Austin and I had a flashback to this social media website idea – I got to talking with him, and we planned out the whole website as we were sitting there in the boardroom of the hotel, and we’re going to be launching the website in a few weeks here.

Now what’s even cooler about this was that we were there in the hotel with Stephen Pierce (we even went to the movies that night together with him), and told him about this new website that we are going to be launching, and Stephen gave us an awesome video testimonial and is on-board to be one of our big JV partners with this new website launch.

That my friends is the update of what goes on “behind the scenes” and how to make things happen!

It’s all about being around the right people and making the right connections and partnerships to help you create more value for the people around you.

It is all about GIVING GREAT VALUE FIRST – to your customers and to your partners.

You want to reach out to create and give great value first – without expecting anything in return – that will help you create raving fans for clients and profitable partnerships for life!

Creating value first creates valuable relationships.

I want you to think about your top 10 ideal customers, and your top 10 ideal partners right now – and think about what you can do RIGHT NOW to help create value in their lives first, and then see what happens and how that impacts your life and your business!

I’m headed out later on to the Affiliate Appreciate Weekend held by Mike Filsaime and Stompernet, and then speaking at the Alex Jeffreys conference as well – if you happen to be at either event, come by and say hi.

And don’t forget to leave your comment right now about how you are going to go out and create more valuable relationships!

What is your "Why"?

October 1, 2009

What is your “Why”?
This video is the reason I do everything I do.
It’s a little personal….but I thought I should share it with you anyways, because I feel like we all have to find out our own reason “why” we are doing what we are doing.
“If your why is strong enough, you’ll figure out how.”
