Traffic, Traffic, Traffic, and MORE Traffic!

by Adam on December 23, 2008

Well, Christmas is almost here, and I just finished the last of my Christmas shopping last night…whew! What a relief. I am definitely looking forward to taking a break over the holidays and just being with my family. In fact, we had a huge snowstorm come in over the weekend, and I had a great time making a little snowman with my little boy yesterday–It definitely feels like Christmas and it is a great time of year!

Earlier this week I showed you one of my traffic methods that have been working like gangbusters– JV Giveaways. There are many otheres here that I’ll not for you:

  • Submit my blog to RSS feeds like RSSMatron, FeedFury, Dapper, Feedage, GoldenFeed, and FeedAgg
  • Social Bookmarking with multiple directories and multiple accounts (using sites like Social Marker and Onlywire)
  • Blog commenting and “rig hopping” :-)
  • Article submission using specific keywords and www.submityourarticle.com
  • Video submission using Traffic Geyser
  • Setting up FriendFeed to sync with my RSS feeds and Twitter for Twitter marketing (I set up an RSS feed from my ezine articles, and my bookmarks, my Google Reader, even my blog posts, and I can share the pages I like in my google reader with my friendfeed and have it update my Twitter account as well–whenever I see an article or webpage that has good value, I can share it with people on my friendfeed and twitter account with a click of a button.
  • Facebook polls and page creation — I’m just getting started with this and learning how to maximize traffic and friends in facebook.

AND I’ve got a new, secret traffic tactic that I’ll be woring on after the holidays that you guys are going to LOVE! I just had the idea a few days ago, and all I can say is that it is pure genious!

Stay tuned…

and a Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Adam,

My dear friend, I hope you are having a rewarding Christmas! I’ve been busy, and playing catch-up with all my work. I have so many things to do and if feels like snail pace. But I’m sure I’ll get it done. I’ve made note of several points on your recent posts with RSS feeds etc. I look forward to your new ideas!

Cheers!

Hey Adam

Hope your Holidays are going great. I see your really doing a lot to amp up your traffic, and I will use some of your tactics as well.

On a side note, I’ve been getting killed by spam on my blog and have taken some action against it occurring again.

Hello Adam

I sure wish that we had gotten some snow here. It is 70 and sunny today not a cloud in the sky. It sounds like you had some quality time with the family this week.

Your site certainly has a lot of good value. I will be back to learn more. My mind is on overload with all the good information on everyone’s site. I am keeping a log as to what is available on each blog i visit so when I need it I can go back and read up on it.

I am certainly looking forward to 2009. It’s gonna be a great year for all of us…

Robin :-)

Hi Adam,

I like your blog theme, it’s one of the best looking ones I’ve seen so far, did you find it in the WP directory of themes and do they have different colors of the same theme?

I took you up on your offer to get the free videos and I’m enjoying learning from them and from being in Alex’s coaching class. There are so many helpful people in our class, it’s so great to have this many resources of help.

Can you tell me how you tied your friendfeed, google reader and twitter account all together, I’d really like to do that with mine too. Thanks in advance for your help. I’ve added you to my blog roll and hope you’ll do the same for me, you can find mine at http://www.kevingonline.com

Keep up the great work on your blog and posting great content and I’m looking forward to your next post with your new idea.

Happy New Year to you and your family,
Kevin

Hi Adam

Wishing you a very happy and prosperous new year.

I hope your 2009 Internet business will give you everything you have ever dreamed of.

One Big Word Of Caution!

And PLEASE DONT JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR THIS. I will try to back it up with some facts.

Unfortunately we are in a global financial situation none of us have ever seen before. You need to consider very carefully which currency you trade in. Then consider very carefully in which countries you bank and keep your money in. At the Moment experts are predicting the British pound and the American dollar both currencies are going to collapse within 2 years your £s and $s could very well be worthless in just a few months

I Hope I am talking a load of Rubbish.

But a FIAT based currency A DEBT economy in which we operate; in history has never lasted very long perhaps a 100 years. In other words, the bubble will always burst collapse is always inevitable. The amount of debt we have, makes it impossible to come back from. You Cannot Pay A Debt with a debt. It’s Impossible.

But first watch a couple of experts tell you how they see the future, fore warned is fore armed and I would suggest taking this into consideration so you can position yourself into the right financial position.

At the moment our politicians US & UK are the last people to listen to. They are basically saying anything that keeps the people quiet. They are telling us what they want us to hear.

I could keep writing for ages about FIAT currency, debt money, Offshore Banking, Tax havens etc but to give you an idea so you can judge for yourself go to my blog http://daveorchard.com click on the header WHERE’S YOUR MONEY GONE? And watch the program. Please leave a comment this can be good or bad this is something we are all in together, and there are millions of other people that will be effected and will need our help.

We are in a global business so we bank global, live global, for our own benefit.

Best Regards

DaveO

Oh Hey Adam

Last time you visiited my blog you mentioned that you loved the article I had written.

I figured that I would let you know that I have just published another one on How Too Create A Solid Chapter Outline in relation to planning and structuring an e-book.

I have also written a series of 5 articles for Garry Parkes newsletter, the first of which will be released tomorrow with the remainder being released in his forthcoming issues.

I take it by the date of your last post that you may be having a break so I hope if that is the case you have enjoyed yourself and that you are now well rested.

I look foward to reading more good stuff on your website as we move foward into 2009. I wish you every success in the coming year.

Take Care

Hi Adam,

Just landed on your great blog on my “world-wide” tour of Alex’s students’ blogs – quite a journey!

I see you are also a student of Michael Cheney – it’s been quite an adventure doing both, don’t you think?

My pet project right now is to create a viral ebook as described below. I have just entered your site details on my blog and blogroll. Please let me know what you think!

Having recently started on my tour round the blogs created by the students of the Alex Jeffreys’ coaching program, the massive potential of this great repository of information hit me like a thunderbolt. It struck me that an ebook containing the links to all these blogs with a brief summary of the contents of each would be a huge source of valuable information to the Internet community.

Each student has a unique talent and strength and has something different and powerful to contribute. I would like to create an ebook that each student may both contribute to and promote.

I have created a post on my blog called “A Tour of the Alex Jeffreys’ Student Sites”. My initial idea was to visit each site, compose a summary and post it on the blog. Having only managed to visit 10 sites so far (I only started 2 days ago) and, with the idea for the ebook only arriving in my consciousness last night, there are only 3 summaries so far!!

Conclusion… this will take a VERY long time.

Unless….. each student heads over to my blog and enters his/her own summary of the strengths and contents of their own blogs. Please keep this summary as brief as possible – ie a maximum of 100 words.

When there are about 50 entries, I will publish the first edition of the ebook and make it available for you to promote on your own blogs. Thereafter, it will be updated as and when sufficient more material is made available.
This ebook will go viral and give massive exposure to each and every one of our blogs. I thought of the title “The Hottest New Blogs on the Web” – what do you think?

Any ideas, hints and tips will be gratefully accepted.

So, please head on over to http://bevgough.com and insert your penny’s worth under the post “A Tour of the Alex Jeffreys’ Student Sites”

My strength lies in the fact that I am an educator who believes in enabling the learner rather than teaching. I have been on the net for many years now but am a total newbie to Internet Marketing and am on a steep learning curve in this arena.

Looking forward to meeting everyone online really soon – let’s go viral!

Best wishes, Bev
