Wow,

The video gives some pretty amazing statistics on the growth of Socil Media.

As technology has got cheaper and traditional activities such as “going to the pub” more expensive, I think people are searching to find like minded niche communities to share their thoughts and experiences.

It’s these targeted niche groupings which are so important to find and belong for Internet marketing success.

Fads become trends, trends become styles, and styles become genres.

But not all fads becomes trends. Some die out. I would say it is at the “trend” stage, but it certainly seems to have staying power.
